White Wine Mushroom Pasta

This White Wine Mushroom Pasta is decadent and delicious. It’s a copycat Vapiano Crema di Funghi recipe that is full of flavor!


– Linguine – Butter – Onion – Garlic

Cook linguine according to packaging. Before draining, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water. Drain and set pasta aside.


In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add in diced onion and minced garlic and cook for 4-5 minutes until onion is translucent.


 Add in mushrooms and stir. Cook an additional 7-9 minutes until mushrooms are fork tender.


Pour in white wine and scrape up any browned bits on the bottom. Cook 1-2 minutes until wine has reduced by half.


Pour in heavy cream and stir until combined. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg then stir to combine.
