In a small bowl, whisk the eggs. Pour in the half and half, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Stir together and place in a shallow bowl.

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter for each batch over medium heat in a large skillet.

While butter is melting, dip a piece of bread on both sides into the mixture. Place immediately into the skillet.

Cook on each side for 4-5 minutes so that each side is nice and browned.
